MRP Named Finalists at the Digital Printer Awards 2025 — For the Second Year Running!

We are delighted to announce that MRP has been selected as a finalist in the Sustainability category at the Digital Printer Awards 2025. Being recognised for the second consecutive year is a milestone we are incredibly proud of and a true testament to the innovation and dedication of our team.

The event began with a sophisticated champagne reception, followed by an exquisite three-course dinner that created the perfect atmosphere for an afternoon of celebration. The awards ceremony itself brought together leading businesses and outstanding talent from across the digital printing industry, making it a memorable occasion for everyone involved.

Earning this recognition reinforces our continued commitment to sustainable practices and responsible innovation. It reflects the hard work, skill, and passion demonstrated by our entire MRP team, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to our clients, suppliers, and supporters who are such an important part of our journey.

Celebrating Our Win at the FlexoTech Awards 2025!

We are delighted to share that Midland Regional Printers Ltd has been recognised as the Winner of the ‘Environmentally Sustainable Company – Business’ category at the FlexoTech Awards 2025, hosted by Whitmar Publications at the InterContinental London Park Lane on Thursday evening.

This achievement marks our seventh consecutive year as finalists, and we couldn’t be prouder to have our ongoing commitment to sustainability and innovation celebrated at such a prestigious industry event.

The evening was one to remember — beginning with a warm champagne reception, followed by an exquisite three-course dinner that set the perfect tone for a night of celebration. The awards ceremony itself added an extra touch of elegance and excitement, bringing together the best in the flexographic printing industry.

We were especially honoured to receive the following feedback from the judges:

Partnering with CarbonQuota

We are excited to share that we have just partnered with CarbonQuota, specialists in packaging, print, and carbon management. 

This collaboration brings us some fantastic new capabilities:

  1. Carbon Data for Quotes and Jobs
    • We can now provide carbon data for every quote and job we produce. This information will be included in the quote itself.
    • If customers are looking for more sustainable options, we can suggest alternatives and show the carbon savings these choices offer.
    • Additionally, we can provide customers with detailed reports on the carbon impact of their projects over a period of their choice.
  1. Annual Carbon Footprint
    • CarbonQuota will also calculate and provide us with our yearly carbon footprint, helping us better manage our environmental impact. This includes Scopes 1, 2 and 3 emissions.

We had an exceptional evening attending the prestigious FlexoTech Awards, hosted by Whitmar Publications, in the heart of London last Thursday night.

This year marks a significant milestone for us as it is the fifth time we have been honoured as finalists, and we are beyond thrilled to be recognised in the highly competitive Environmentally Sustainable Company – Production category. This recognition underscores our ongoing commitment to sustainability and innovation within the industry, and we could not be prouder of our team’s efforts.

The awards ceremony was held at The Royal Lancaster London, an absolutely stunning venue that added an extra layer of elegance and grandeur to the event. The evening began with a warm reception, where guests were welcomed with champagne, setting the tone for a night filled with anticipation and celebration. We were then treated to an exquisite three-course meal, where the artistry of fine dining perfectly complemented the atmosphere of the evening.

The highlight of the night, of course, was the announcement and presentation of the awards. It was truly an honour to be among such esteemed company, and the recognition reaffirmed our dedication to environmental and sustainable production practices.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us on this journey. Your encouragement and belief in our vision have played an integral role in our continued success. Heyford Fields Marina Calendar for Breast Cancer UK

We are thrilled to present this wonderful calendar, thoughtfully organised by Sue Winters in support of Breast Cancer UK.

The remarkable women featured are all part of Heyford Fields Marina. Creating this calendar involved a lot of time, dedication, and plenty of fun during the photo sessions—helped along by a few glasses of Prosecco for some added courage!

The calendar was beautifully designed by the talented Matt McDonald, and we then printed a sample copy for approval. After it was approved, we proudly donated the printing, and GM Finishing generously provided the wiro binding.

It has been a true pleasure to collaborate with Sue and Bob on this project, and we are incredibly proud to support such a worthy cause. Being Breast Cancer Awareness Month makes this extra special!

Carbon Footprint

Carbon Footprint Measured and Certified

We are excited to announce that we have successfully calculated our carbon footprint in collaboration with Eight Versa, an environmental consultancy. After submitting all energy usage and carbon footprint data, we have now obtained certification (verified by Natural Carbon Solutions).

Now that we understand our carbon impact, we are working on identifying areas of high impact, as well as opportunities and strategic actions to reduce our carbon footprint. This will also help us set targets for the future.

Our assessment includes Scope 1 (Greenhouse Gas), Scope 2 (Electricity), and Scope 3 (All other emissions, including investments, upstream and downstream responsibilities, waste, and end-of-life considerations for all our products).

Digital Labels & Packaging Awards 2024 Winner

Environmental Company of the Year Winner 2024

We had an amazing time attending the prestigious Digital Labels & Packaging Awards 2024, and we are extremely proud and honoured to announce that we have won!

The event was held at The Kia Oval in London on Thursday, 27th June, and included a champagne reception and a three-course dinner.

What the judges said: ‘The judges like the 360° approach taken to review every aspect of their business to identify the positive change they could make, and to develop a roadmap to deliver these environmental benefits. No stone has been left unturned in their drive to a greener future.’

Printweek 2024 Awards Finalists

We had an amazing time attending Printweek Awards 2024 in London again.

This was our fourth year as finalists and we are thrilled to have been recognised in two categories – Environmental Company of the Year and Packaging Printer of the Year SME.

The comments from the judges made us incredible proud: ‘This is a tremendous achievement against extremely tough competition. This year we received an astounding calibre of entries from across the country, so being shortlisted is an incredible feat’’.

The awards were held at The Brewery, in trendy east London, which is a stunning venue. The night started with champagne on arrival, a delicious three-course meal, followed by the awards being announced and presented.

We are grateful to everyone who supported us and we are excited to participate in next year’s prestigious awards.
